Founders raise in many cases for status
Most ideas can be proved out without it
Real risk comes from no money at all and moving at the speed of light
Most exits are better for the bootstrapped founder
VCs incentives and the tech industry at large rewards those who raise big and go big. I’m glad these exist. And if the right need arises I may try so myself. But the incentives and understanding should be made more aware
